A private charter group on their last of four days with Balancal had high hopes on what was a really nice day 'weatherwise'. Shortly before 12 noon Captain Anibal shouted the welcomed 'FISH!' as an estimated 800lb Marlin attacked the short right bait aggressively.

7th June 2006 Christopher Blandy hooks a 600-700 pound blue marlin but the fish dramatically throws the hook after violently throwing itself clean out the water very close to the boat......

Very happy guests onboard today as our Skipper Anibal led them to a school of Big Eye Tuna feeding close to the southern coast. Two fish were hooked up and landed weighing in at approximately 20 kg and 40 kg.
